In Bob Lanzer's acceptance speech at the election count, he hit out at politicians who make promises without explaining where the money will come from and who had not carried out those policies when in office several years ago.

Could he have been referring to the Tory Shadow Chancellor, George Osborne's recent speech ion Liverpool?

Mr Osvborne would have us believe that he has a policy on taxing foreign profits which is a new departure, but Bob Lanzer was scathing in his attack on those who proimise things they did not deliver when in power.

What next, I wonder? Perhaps a direct attack on David Cameron's ever-changing policies?
